Late-night "comedian" James Corden was banned from a swanky NYC restaurant due to his rude and entitled behavior

Oh, boo-hoo! Little Jimmy Corden got called out for being an absolute jerk!

From the New York Post:

"The Late Late Show" host has been accused of boorish behavior by the owner of the posh Manhattan eatery Balthazar — who dubbed him a "tiny Cretin of a man" and banned him from dining there ever again.

"[He's] the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago," said Keith McNally in a scathing Instagram post put up late Monday.

Here are some more excerpts from the Instagram post by the restaurant owner, McNally:

James Corden is a Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man.

Even in this post, McNally starts off by taking it easy on Corden. First off, no one has EVER accused James Corden of being a "tiny" anything. Second, he's not a "gifted comedian."

I'm not even sure he attempts to be funny. He's an unentertaining British slob who wouldn't know actual comedy if it stared him in the face.

Anyways, McNally goes on:

And (Corden is) the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago.I don't often 86 a customer, today I 86'd Corden. It did not make me laugh.

This guy deals with snobby, rich, New York elite clientele EVERY SINGLE DAY and it was James Corden who was the worst of the worst.

He's always struck me as the arrogant type.

Here are the two examples given of Corden's uncouth behavior:

MANAGER'S REPORT # 1: 'In June, James Corden was here on table 61. (Although this is diabolical, it happens Very occasionally in all restaurants.) After eating his main course, Corden showed the hair to Balthazar manager G. who was very apologetic. Corden was extremely nasty to G, and said:"Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I [won't] write any nasty reviews in yelp or anything like that."

So he eats the entire meal, at the end finds a hair and uses that to blackmail management into giving him and his guest free drinks under threat of giving them a bad review.

Yeah, that's a jerk move.

There's more:

MANAGER'S REPORT # 2: 'James Corden was at Balthazar with his wife on October 9th for brunch. He asked for a table outside. Brunch Maitre D' Allie Wolters took the party to table 301. Mr. Corden's wife ordered an egg yolk omelette with gruyere cheese and salad. A few minutes after they received the food, James called their server, M. K. and told her there was a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk. M. K. informed the floor manager, G. The kitchen remade the dish but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad. That's when James Corden began yelling like crazy to the server: "You can't do your job! You can't do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!" M.K. was very apologetic and brought G. over to the table. He returned the dish, and after that, everything was fine. He gave them promo Champagne glasses to smooth things out. G. said that Corden was pleasant to him but nasty to the server.' M.K. was very shaken, but professional that she is, continued to finish her shift.'

Yeah, so the waiter gets the order slightly wrong and Corden just berates her, yelling at her like the nasty dude he is.

James Corden is THE prototypical Karen.

And in true Karen fashion, after being banned from this restaurant Corden went to the manager, or in this case the owner, who rescinds his ban. He doesn't complain more but instead apologizes.

So, after the headlines started to come out, Corden crawled back and apologized so he could continue to visit the swanky restaurant.

The owner followed up his original post with another showing his willingness to forgive Corden for his inexcusable behavior.

James Corden just called me and apologized profusely. Having f***** up myself more than most people, I strongly believe in second chances...

But....anyone magnanimous enough to apologize to a deadbeat layabout like me (and my staff) doesn't deserve to be banned from anywhere. Especially Balthazar. So Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Corden, Jimmy Corden. All is Forgiven. xx

McNally is SO much more forgiving than I am.

I guess he's never seen Corden's show. Or the trailer for Cats.
