I live in a normal U.S. state, so the only real wildlife incursion I regularly have to deal with is when a few moths fly into my home when I open the door.

In other states, meanwhile, the wild animal factor is...a bit different.
Cowboy State Daily reports:
Two mule deer bucks were brawling so hard with each other, they tumbled into a window well and crashed through the plate glass into the basement exercise room of a suburban Denver home.
The raucous incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, in Roxborough Park, a semi-rural neighborhood adjacent to a Colorado state park of the same name, according to reports.
Builders in Colorado putting in a neighborhood right next to a massive state park full of crazy wild animals:

I guess they're used to it out there in Colorado, though that doesn't make up for a wrecked exercise room.
They got protocol for this sort of thing out there, though. The "befuddled homeowner" called for help, after which Colorado Parks and Wildlife agents showed up "and shot the bucks with tranquilizer darts."
And man, they really got into it!
Colorado parks guys tranqing up deer like:

Thank goodness it worked!
Thankfully they were able to get the deer outside and released back into the wild where they belong:
Apparently this can happen when deer fight each other during mating season. As one expert told the Cowboy State Daily:
It gets pretty ugly sometimes, when the gonads migrate to the brain.
