Watch an advocate for Maine's "New Americans" office explain why the state needs to prioritize helping immigrants over veterans

In August of last year, the Governor of Maine, Janet Mills, created an "Office of New Americans" which is aimed at spending money to help people from other countries (often "asylum seekers") to get started in Maine.

Since then, the governor has asked the state legislature to officially inaugurate this office to help immigrants of all stripes integrate into the state's workforce.

Obviously, this means a prioritization of money, resources, and jobs for the illegal aliens.

So when asked why Mainers should give money and benefits to immigrants instead of American veterans who are also struggling to find jobs, one of the advocates for the Migrant Resettlement Office, a Somali immigrant, had this to say:

They (veterans) have the advantage of speaking the language, most of our military folks.

So these folks that we are working on may not have that, so it's going to be really difficult to say, 'I used to be an electrician in my country,' I'm just using mine, which is Somalia, but that might not really fall into our laws that we have in this country.

New "Americans" from HER country (Somalia, of course), need to go to the front of the line for jobs and assistance because they don't speak English ...

Make it make sense, people!

Reminds me of someone else ...
