Mayor Pete refuses to deny that he plans to run for Michigan governor when asked by Breakfast Club hosts 😬

As a Michigander, I thought there could be no one worse than Queen Gretch to lead the Mitten State.

I was wrong.

Angela Rye: 'But you did move to Michigan in 2020. There is a term-limited governor.'

Charlamagne: 'Big Gretch.'

Angela: 'Yes, Gretchen Whitmer, who is, of course, not running. And then there is a mayor of Detroit who has declared his gubernatorial run but is an independent. So...' [Laughs]

Charlamagne: 'Democrats want you to run for governor of Michigan.'

Angela: 'But have you thought about running for governor?'

Pete Buttigieg: 'I'm not here to make news on my future. I honestly haven't ruled anything in or out.'

...

Charlamagne: 'They said you met about it this week...

...

Charlamagne: 'Is it something that you're even interested in?'

Gay Pete: 'Are you just gonna keep asking the same thing different ways?'

Charlamagne: 'Has it crossed your mind, like "Being the governor of Michigan would be pretty cool"?'

Gay Pete: 'I care about the place a lot ... you can work on that in office or you can work on that out of office. I'm not trying to be cagey but I don't know and I want to have a lot more of my mind made up before I go around talking about that stuff on the radio.'

Considering that Michigan just went red for Trump, one could hope that Michiganders wouldn't decide to put a guy who couldn't even fix potholes in Indiana - and who spent billions of dollars to build 7 EV chargers - in charge of an entire state.

(Seriously, name one thing Pete has notably accomplished that qualifies him, other than being gay.)

But Michigan is a political enigma, what with the old-school, blue-collar types and boomer hippies who don't realize the Democrats are now the party of big business, outsourcing jobs, and endless war (not to mention transing the kids).

(Don't even get me started on the anarchist libertarians who don't want anyone to tread on them but can't be bothered to vote Republican in state races.)

Then you've got the wealthy woke enclaves full of indoctrinated college kids and suburban wine moms.

Michiganders, don't let an Indianan mess up this great state (more than the current Lansing regime already has)!
