Michael Bay is developing a Skibidi Toilet movie franchise. God help us.

Michael Bay's movies are not exactly known for their deep plots. I'm still not exactly sure what the point of all the Transformer movies were, other than to sell lots of toys.

But his latest project might be the ultimate in pointless, plotless endeavor yet.

Bay is apparently developing Alexey Gerasimov‘s Skibidi Toilet into a movie and television franchise.

Former Paramount president Adam Goodman said,

I will say that Michael and Jeffrey Beecroft, who's his longtime production designer and a colleague of his that's worked with him on all of his movies, have been working very closely with Alexey to really professionalize the kind of back engine of this.

If you're not familiar with Skibidi Toilet, count yourself lucky.

The YouTube series is all the rage amongst Gen Alpha, and it takes Gen Z's love of the absurd into the stratosphere.

The basic premise is that the Skibidi virus is infecting humanity, turning them into toilets with heads in them. The heroes trying to fight the virus all have electronics for heads. Episodes are crazy short: all under one minute, and each one racks up tens of millions of views.

Here's the first five episodes, which together run one minute.

[Warning: Utter Stupidity]

It's so dumb that the woke, fourth-wave feminazis love that future men are watching it.

Lucy Ford, a writer who is an expert on memes and viral phenomena, told Insider that 'Skibidi Toilet' might be 'the most genius thing that's ever been created for the internet.'

Ford said she definitely thinks 'Skibidi Toilet' is 'melting people's brains,' but sees the whole phenomenon as weirdly wholesome.

'I would rather have someone's brain melted by that than, I don't know, these manosphere podcasters,' she said.

'If someone's going to sing that song instead of parroting misogyny, that's cool with me.'

That's just sick.

Anyway, I guess if anyone can make a war between singing toilets and camera-headed titans even more meaningless, Michael Bay can.

As far as what any of this means for the future of society, well, I think we've seen that movie already.
