EVIL.
Original story:
It's 2024, Donald Trump is president-elect, we say "Merry Christmas" again, and we sure as the Devil don't put up with, well, the Devil -- especially at Christmastime.
This year we had Iowa refuse to put up a Satanic display after last year's decapitation of Baphomet, we've had a brave soul in New Hampshire destroy another demonic statue meant to desecrate a Christmas celebration, and now we have this:
Yes, Tim Walz's Capitol put up a demonic idol courtesy of Minnesota Satanists. But after A LOT of public outcry from conservatives the Satanic display has been removed.
A holiday display that included a satanic symbol has been removed from the Minnesota State Capitol after it drew outrage from some conservative politicians and groups.
The display of the mythical phoenix, its wings of yellow and orange paper spread wide as it freshly emerged from its ashes, sat nearby a Christmas tree and a nativity scene just off the domed building's main rotunda. Atop its head was a five-sided star inside a circle, a common symbol of Satanism.
'You Are Your Own God,' read a card in front of the phoenix. On Wednesday morning, the bird and star were gone, replaced by another card: 'This Display is Temporarily Unavailable,' it read.
Clearly, the statue had nothing to do with Christmas or the holidays. It was put there as an anti-God and anti-Christmas troll. And even in Tim Walz's state, public backlash was strong enough to have the statue removed.
But it is Minnesota. And Tim Walz has already made it clear that he "disagrees" with the statue, but like all elected officials, refuses to do anything to offend the god of pluralism. So who knows if they'll put it back?
I'll still take the W of having the statue taken down by any means!
