Mom of girl strangled in home by alleged MS-13 gang member sues Homeland Security for $100M

20-year-old Kayla Hamilton was allegedly raped and killed by a MS-13 gang member from El Salvador and her mom wants justice.

Tammy Nobles, Kayla's mother, has filed a $100 million lawsuit against the Biden Administration for allowing the border to deteriorate and aiding criminals to gain entrance into the US.

Tammy Nobles, the mother of 20-year-old Kayla Hamilton, argues in her $100 million lawsuit that both the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Health and Human Services failed her daughter by allowing the unidentified migrant into the country without confirming his identity...

If the feds had properly screened the suspect, they would have realized he was a member of the gang — disqualifying him from entry into the United States, she alleged.

Yeah, or they could just turn away ANYONE trying to illegally cross the border.

There are really simple ways to protect Americans, but it's not clear this administration cares.

This young lady was in MARYLAND when she was allegedly killed by the gangbanger. This isn't just a Texas or Arizona problem. Biden's border is a national crisis.

Kayla lived in the same trailer with the gang member after a previous tenant sublet his rental to the illegal immigrant. The 17-year-old allegedly raped and then strangled Kayla to death in her home.

"We're bringing this lawsuit because we're tired of being held hostage in our own country," Claypool told NewsNation. "We're tired of DHS playing Russian roulette with our lives [and] with Kayla's life.

"That's why we brought this case," he said.

"We're alleging that two federal agencies catastrophically failed Kayla … and are failing everybody," Claypool said, claiming, "This could happen anywhere to anybody."

Nobles and another grieving mom testified before Congress last week.

Nobles and another grieving mother testified on Thursday in front of the House panel conducting an impeachment inquiry into Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, whom they accuse of not enforcing federal immigration laws.

"For me, this not a political issue, this a safety issue for everyone living in the United States," she told the House Homeland Security Committee.

As her the lawsuit states, this migrant gang member had no reason to be allowed into the country.

Claypool also argues that the Department of Health and Human Services "was responsible for putting [the suspect] in a holding facility for a couple of days and then making a phone call and confirming that this young man had what's called a verified sponsor — a relative, a known, verified relative.

"Even though DHS let him in, he still can't get in the US unless he is going to a known relative," he explained. "Well, they blew it, too.

If they couldn't find a relative of his in the US, they're supposed to send him back. Well, that didn't happen.

I would call it a failure on multiple levels, but that would imply that the Biden administration wants to enforce the law but they're simply inept. That doesn't seem to be the case.
