Media Narrative On Coronavirus Changes So Fast You Might Get Whiplash
· Jan 22, 2021 · NottheBee.com

It's a miracle! Nobody could have seen this coming!

In the history of unbelievable headline "before-and-afters" from the mainstream media, this one from NPR is particularly poignant in illustrating how the media narrative can change on a dime given the political implications of their headlines.

The first headline comes from a story published on January 19, and it documents the ever-rising surge of Coronavirus cases currently in the United States. And if you read the entire story it takes direct aim at Donald Trump for his handling of Covid-19, blaming his administration for the rise in cases.

The second story comes on January 21, just two days later, and it reports many experts saying that the spread of Covid has peaked and is starting to decline.

These two headlines come two days apart and seem to contradict one another.

What in the world could have happened on January 20 to so dramatically change the narrative.

I wonder...

It couldn't be that Joe Biden was inaugurated as President on January 20, so the media in a coordinated effort is shifting the focus away from the pandemic so that the Democrats can get credit for defeating the Coronavirus? That couldn't be it.

Of course, this is exactly what's happening. In the second story, the writer even acknowledges that cases have been slowly falling for the last few weeks. But for some reason, it wasn't worth reporting on until Donald Trump was out of office.

Maybe the most galling part of this biased coverage is that it's coming from taxpayer-funded NPR. You are paying for this fake news to be spread.

We were told that the Biden administration would rely on "the science" to address all sorts of issues.

Instead of science being back, it looks like the mainstream media spin machine is back and working overtime to project a positive image of Democrat politicians, regardless of truth and reality.
