People keep hating on Trevor Zegras for using this beautiful lacrosse move in the NHL, but hey, if it goes in it goes in

Okay, say what you want about Trevor Zegras and his frequent use of the "Michigan" lacrosse move to put pucks in the back of the net, but I think it's pretty neat.

What say you?

That's a pretty difficult play to make right there. Yet I see people all over the internet speaking out against it.

Like this guy:

I'm also hearing a lot about how this is disrespectful and someone should pop him one for doing this.

Really?

Maybe help out your goalie, play a little defense, and don't give the guy enough time to pick up the puck and casually throw it into the back of your net.

Just saying...

Now, maybe someday the NHL will outlaw this move.

But until then, it's one of the most spectacular plays in hockey.

A few more Michigan-style goals from Zegras then I'm out:

Gorgeous. And great for the game.

Defensemen, step your game up.
