On Friday, hours after Biden's deadline for Texas to remove their National Guard troops from the border expired, the President decided to take action that would put a pause on liquid natural gas (LNG) exports.

You know, because of climate change. Nothing to do with the fact that it disproportionately hurts Texas.

President Joe Biden said in a statement that his administration will take a "hard look at the impacts of LNG exports on energy costs" during this period as well as "America's energy security, and our environment."

"This pause on new LNG approvals sees the climate crisis for what it is: the existential threat of our time," he said. "While MAGA Republicans willfully deny the urgency of the climate crisis, condemning the American people to a dangerous future, my Administration will not be complacent. We will not cede to special interests."

He can't even put out a statement about LNG without taking a potshot at "MAGA Republicans."

Now, Biden's statement is all about climate change and how he decided to save the planet.

There's no mention by mainstream media that this just so happens to coincide with Biden's battle against Texas and how this would effectively act as an economic sanction on Texas.

But if you're paying attention, you can put things together.

It sure looks like an economic sanction against Texas.

And I'm telling you that Greg Abbott sees it exactly this way.

Fortunately, Biden's history of economic sanctions shows that they never work.

But if this is an act of vengeance on a US state for enforcing the law, we've taken a huge step towards a major showdown.
