I've been reliably informed that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is running for president as an Independent because he's a secret plant made to take votes away from Donald Trump or whoever the Republican nominee is.

But if that's the case, why is he running more radically left than Joe Biden?

Here's the relevant portion from his campaign website where Kennedy buys into the leftwing narrative on race today straight out of the BLM handbook:

Nearly 60 years after the Civil Rights Act, the condition of Black people in America is better in many respects. However, in terms of income, wealth, education, infant mortality, home ownership, incarceration, health, and life expectancy, they still lag behind the rest of the population.

Kennedy, while not going full Commie-fornia and handing out cash payments for reparations, lays out a plan to pour federal dollars into specific communities based on race, commits to prison reform and police reform advocated by far-left activists, and focuses specifically on atoning for America's past racial sins.

Communities that were specifically targeted for destruction need to be specifically targeted for repair. During Jim Crow, Black banks, businesses, hospitals, schools, and farms were targeted for destruction. Racists knew that without these, the Black community had no chance of building wealth. We must set federal dollars aside to rebuild Black infrastructure.

These programs complement direct redress payments or tax credits to the descendents of the victims of Jim Crow and other victims of persecution. RFK Jr. will find ways to offer this redress that are legal, fair, and win the approval of Americans of all races.

That's reparations, folks.

As a matter of fact, Kennedy has talked about this before. Here he gives a 15-minute answer on his thoughts on racial reparations.

You can agree or disagree with Kennedy's answers, but the fact is that this plan of Kennedy's is significantly to the left of anything Biden has done on this front.

He's still a Democrat, folks.
