Republican president hopeful Ron DeSantis came out swinging from Daniel Penny's corner yesterday, calling him a "Good Samaritan" and sharing a link to a fundraiser for Penny, who has turned himself in to police on charges of manslaughter after subduing a violent homeless man on a New York subway with a chokehold. The homeless man, Jordan Neely, died from the choke.
We must defeat the Soros-Funded DAs, stop the Left's pro-criminal agenda, and take back the streets for law abiding citizens. We stand with Good Samaritans like Daniel Penny. Let's show this Marine... America's got his back.
Penny, a former Marine, reportedly put Neely in a headlock to subdue him after the homeless man was acting crazy and threatened to kill passengers.
Daniel Penny has been charged with second-degree manslaughter and has since posted the 100,000 bail.
At publishing time, Penny's GiveSendGo fundraiser has raised just north of $1 million.
