Ron DeSantis is giving $1,000 bonuses to all Florida police officers to show them appreciation

In an age where it's trendy to defund law enforcement and let criminals run rampant in the name of supposed "equity," Gov. Ron "The Man" DeSantis is taking a different route:

That's right: DeSantis and the Florida legislature are giving $1,000 bonuses for law enforcement across his state.

The bonuses not only apply to police officers, but also to all first responders, including paramedics, firefighters, and EMTs.

"Approximately $208 million has been allocated from DEO for over 174,000 first responders across the state, including 49,405 sworn law enforcement officers, 40,732 EMTs, 35,811 firefighters and 33,185 paramedics in Florida," said the governor's office.

DeSantis's enemies were upset, probably because he's going to continue to attract the best officers from crime-free leftist utopias like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles with stunts like this!
