Did you know that the University of Michigan has 241 paid DEI employees, costing the school more than $30 million a year? And that's just scratching the surface!

If you thought Harvard was infected with DEI, let's take a look at one of the largest and most prominent public universities in the US.

According to a report from the College Fix, the University of Michigan is employing HUNDREDS of paid "DEI" employees at their school, to the tune of tens of millions of dollars!

Thirteen DEI staff members earn more than $200,000 and 66 earn more than $100,000 when factoring in benefits.

In addition, 76 faculty or staff members work part-time as "DEI Unit Leads" advancing diversity efforts in one of UM's 51 schools, colleges, and units, Perry said, bringing UM's core DEI headcount to 317.

Your tax dollars at work Michiganders!

Marxist HR schoolmarms are RAKING in the money at public universities!

And their primary job, if you've ever gone to one of these trainings, is to promote diversity and inclusion by telling you that white people are racist and the world isn't equitable.

The 317 number here is just the beginning. If you include UM jobs off campus. unfilled jobs, part-time and full-time jobs, where DEI is an aspect of the job description, the number jumps to between 500-600.

These are the people in charge of educating your kids when they go to college, and the people in charge of educating the educators and professors who are teaching your kids.

And it's not a Michigan problem alone. Florida, Texas, and Oklahoma have all banned DEI in public universities, but they stand pretty much alone in rooting the Marxist anti-Americanism out of schools.

But Michigan is leading the charge in the opposite direction:

As part of UM's ambitious five-year Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) 2.0 Plan, the university's 19 academic schools and colleges and its 32 non-academic units must now also implement DEI plans...

"UM's five-year diversity central plans are reminiscent of the Soviet Union's and Communist China's five-year central plans to achieve ‘Ideal Communist Societies' which are examples of top-down oppressive bureaucratic blueprints to socially engineer outcomes decided by the top leadership of the dictatorial regimes," Perry said.

TL;DR:

Michigan has doubled down on its own failed DEI policy, like good commies, and decided that real DEI hasn't been tried yet!

I like JD Vance's proposed solution to the problem:

I'd be careful JD, who knows what DEI crap they'll dig up at Ohio State next ...

But for real, Michigan, y'all gotta get some Republicans in office to get this crap out of your schools. And if you're a Michigan alumni or donor, this ain't the school you went to anymore. Take your money away and let them know why.

DEI is so deeply embedded in education, it's going to take a lot of work to root it out.
