Sweethearts is releasing limited-edition “Situationship” Conversation Hearts filled with blurry messages for those who aren't quite sure what their relationship status is this Valentine's Day

Many people are finding themselves in a 'Situationship' going into this Valentine's Day, and whether that means you're in a complicated relationship, or simply in a new relationship and you don't want to spring a proposal on someone via candy heart accidentally, then the Sweethearts limited edition "Situationship" box is just for you!

The box of candy will contain an assortment of misprinted, blurry, or illegible conversation hearts. But if you've ever bought Sweethearts, you know that like 75% of the candies in the regular box are already blurry. I wonder if they'll even have any candy left over for the classic boxes.

The tagline on the 'Situationship' box reads "just as blurry as your relationship" and I think a lot of people wandering around the candy aisles this year can relate to that.

According to a quick search on the internet, the word 'Situationship' is basically a made-up term for a friends-with-benefits relationship. And apparently, it's gaining a lot of traction in the online dating world where many people are seeking out just such noncommittal relationships. So much so, they don't even want to refer to them as relationships.

An added benefit to giving your Situationship partner the Situationship candies is that they're also incredibly cheap, seeing as they're totally made of chalk, and you wouldn't want to invest too much money into a non-relationship. That would make it look like you wanted to make a long-term commitment.

The limited-edition candy will be available for sale starting January 8th at SweetHeartCandies dot com.

Or you could just buy the regular box of only mostly blurry hearts wherever Valentine's candy is sold!
