Let me add to this report by noting that last night, Twitter's top lawyer โ who was formerly the FBI's top lawyer โ was fired by Elon Musk for allegedly scrubbing all references to FBI collusion with Twitter in the data of the Twitter Files.
When Adam Ford started The Bee in 2016, I don't think he was going for "save the free world," but that's what happened. When Seth Dillon bought The Bee and started growing it exponentially, I don't think he knew either how he'd just bought the X-wing that was going to blow up the Death Star.
After Adam made the sale and launched his news aggregator that ultimately morphed into Not The Bee, he wrote this:
I think the centralization of the internet is one of the greatest threats to the spread of the gospel, and the well-being of mankind, that we face today. Maybe the single biggest threat. It is tyranny over information.
One man with a website launched the missile that took down an information-laundering scheme that might have implemented global tyranny over mankind. Praise the Lord.
If The Bee hadn't made a joke about a man being a man, we might not have known about the insane levels of corruption happening in our government until it was too late.
