The Harris campaign created a map in Fortnite called "Freedom Town USA" but no one wants to play it cuz there's no guns and you can't chat or build things

I never thought Kamala Harris's team would create a metaphor for life under her rule, but they did it. They really did it.

Think about that. In real life, Kamala Harris wants to:

  • Take away your guns.

  • Use three-letter federal agencies to silence you if you express opinions that are not approved.

  • Expand the regulatory nanny state that forbids people from building anything.

And her team put that into a game.

One of the only objectives in this world of Kamala's is to deliver posters to a digital rally (so fun!).

You can also build a preset house to learn about Kamala's plan for affordable housing (more fun!).

Just a boring map that's empty and lonely.

As it turns out, no one wants to play that:

According to the Fortnite GG website, which tracks the popularity of maps for the game, a maximum of 383 players have used Harris' Freedom Town, USA map at any one time over the past 24 hours. This places it well behind established maps such as Ranked Reload, which had a peak of 323,783 players during the same period.

Instead, players have taken to mocking the whole thing.

Video games mirror the game of life. People want to be able to level up, build new things, explore new places, join a cause, be part of a clan, and leave a legacy.

What makes all those things worthwhile is a combination of fun and sacrificial meaning.

In Kamala's world, you have none of that!
