Only weeks after Tucker Carlson showed unreleased exculpatory footage of Jacob Chansley, the man dubbed the "QAnon Shaman" by the media, he has been released from prison more than a year early.
Jacob Chansley has been moved to a facility in Arizona and official records show that Chansley is scheduled to be released on May 25th, which is more than a year earlier than even the minimum requirement for his conviction with early release.
Federal guidelines allow for reduced prison time due to good behavior, but under those guidelines Chansley would have expected to serve at least 35 months and 22 days of his 41-month sentence.
Instead, he was transferred to the halfway house after just 27 months in prison, including the time served prior to his sentencing.
After Tucker Carlson's exposé on the January 6th tapes that showed the Qanon Shaman being guided through the Capitol and being let into the Senate chambers by the police, many began protesting for the immediate release of Chansley, including Elon Musk.
According to Chansley's lawyer, the government withheld this tape and exculpatory evidence against Chansley. Chansley then pled guilty back in September of 2021 because the government withheld the evidence that would have cleared him of the crime.
Now, just weeks after the public has been made aware of the footage, Chansley is scheduled to be released from prison early.
