Last night, Elon Musk hosted Donald Trump for an hours-long candid conversation that was accessible for free.
And, of course, the legacy media elite were furious.
Despite a Washington Post journalist actually asking whether the federal government could prevent the interview from happening ...
... the conversation went ahead.
Now, you'd think that free information for voters is a good thing? And you'd think that as beneficiaries of the First Amendment, the press would be celebrating more speech, not less? And you'd also think they'd ask whether they have any interest in questioning if Kamala Harris would accept Elon Musk's invitation to speak ...
Well, why bother when you can whip out the propaganda hammer and go to town on reality.
Here's my personal favorite from Rex Huppke at USA Today: "Trump rambles, slurs his way through Elon Musk interview. It was an unmitigated disaster."
For a fascism-curious billionaire who loves cuddling up to right-wing loons, Elon Musk sure is good at making right-wing politicians look stupid.
Former President Donald Trump had loudly trumpeted a planned Monday night interview with Musk that would stream on X. But much like the disastrous X-platformed launch of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' presidential campaign, the Musk/Trump interview failed to launch, leaving social media users laughing at the collective incompetence.
Since Vice President Kamala Harris rose to the top of the Democratic presidential ticket last month, Trump's reelection campaign has been flailing. His childish attacks against her aren't working. His racist comments about her mixed-race heritage have repelled all but his most loyal supporters. His vice presidential pick, JD Vance, becomes less likable every time he speaks.
It seems like "fascism-curious" is the only type of "-curious" that's not allowed these days ...
Politico and the Guardian were not as blunt as Huppke, but were more or less pushing the same.
Don't you hate it when billionaire-owned media doesn't shill for the Democratic Party? Makes this whole election business such a headache.
