Hey, if you're gonna steal something and become a criminal, at least steal something that'll be useful when everything hits the fan!

So this couple strolled into Cabela's in El Paso (with their kid!) on May 28 and proceeded to swipe $3,379.93 in ammo.

Cheap brass 9mm ammunition will set you back about $350-$400 for a case of 1,000 rounds (enough to blow a thousand lungs clean out of the body!).

If Cabela's was selling those mega rounds of doom at $340 per case, you'd be looking at 10,000 rounds of ammo that this couple stuffed into their stroller.

Or, this couple could have made off with some 300 Blackout rounds made exclusively for use in a mega-assault-rifle-of-war, what with its billion-round clips and bumpity stocks that cause extinction-level earthquakes with each pull of the trigger.

Considering some basic Winchester-brand rounds in 300 Blackout will set you back over a dollar per round (remember how glorious ammo prices were a few years ago?), they could have swiped over 3,000 rounds, or what the mainstream media calls "an arsenal."

The male suspect is an African American male, in his late 20's to early 30s. The female suspect is a White or Hispanic female in her late 20's or early 30s.

The police believe this couple might be responsible for stealing $129 in ammo and $1,600 in other items back in November from the same store.

This is terrible stuff, but if we're just allowing criminals to make off with medicine, clothes, and groceries these days, why not some blaster fuel??
