LA Magazine decided to do a profile about a woman who is standing trial for the murder of her children and the piece reads like the biggest puff piece in history:
Her perfect life became a perfect nightmare. Her life changed overnight.
It's all so, so sad.
Anyways, here's the community note:
The media is seriously promoting the "tragedy" of a woman who killed two kids because she was racing her car while drunk.
Nowhere does this headline mention the ACTUAL tragedy that two kids were murdered by this "promising young lady" due to her criminal negligence.
This is bigger than the one story. The real story is that the new Twitter may be more powerful than the corporate media. Partisan journalists can no longer peddle in propaganda by spinning stories the way they want you to see them.
