Lutheran “pastor” says Jesus needed to have his worldview corrected

Not all denominations agree on whether women should be deacons, and I've heard some lively arguments on the subject from both sides, but I've never heard anyone blast Jesus as being incorrect on the subject like this "pastor" does:

Jesus needed to have his world view and the purview of his goodness expanded ... Jesus needed to learn his lesson and stand corrected.

The "pastor" in question is one Rev. Nick Utphall of Advent Lutheran Church in Madison, Wisconsin, and his sermon takes the stance that Jesus was wrong to correct Martha for serving.

Apparently, he started this whole sermon out by reading a passage about a woman inheriting property in Numbers 21 as a "New Testament" passage, and the Martha passage in Luke 10 as an "Old Testament" passage.

Because the former is good news and the latter is not.

He then suggests that perhaps Jesus never actually rebuked Martha. Maybe Luke just put words in Jesus's mouth to try to keep women down?

He goes on and on with this nonsense, all the while completely missing the point of the story of Mary and Martha that taking the time to hear the words of Jesus is infinitely better than works.

Clearly, this "pastor" has chosen the path of never "hearing" the Master.
