Remember when it was cool on the Left to completely do away with everyone's freedoms in the name of public safety during Covid?

This small business owner from Minnesota remembers those days, mostly because she was given 90 days in prison and a $1,000 fine from Tim Walz's government for the crime of opening up her coffee and wine bistro.

What happened is, with the first shut down we didn't really know what to do ... we did comply because we didn't know what else to do. He never fully opened up the state ...

So we opened up ... but immediately, within 24-48 hours, the state came down on us with a vengeance. They attacked me: A woman, small business owner ... I went to court, I was found guilty ...

I was sentenced to 90 days, which was the max sentencing, and I was also fined $1,000, which was the max fine for this supposed thing that I did where I was standing on my rights and totally protected by the Constitution of the United States of America.

And here you thought it was only those crazy leftist hellscapes like California, New York, and Illinois which were bringing the government hammer down on small businesses.

Nope, Minnesota had a far-left loon in charge of their government as well, and the punishment for acting like you still had an inch of freedom under his rule was a maximum of 90 days in prison and a $1,000 fine.
