He said tariffs were coming, and here they are:
President Donald Trump said Thursday that he's announcing increases on U.S. tariffs to match the tax rates that other countries charge on imports.
In theory, this means we will simply match the tariffs other countries charge us, but we'll have to wait until there are more details in order for this to be made clear.
The move comes as Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visits the White House, a man who Trump has not had much nice to say about in the past when it comes to tariffs.
