Hey guys, wanna play a game?
Let's all pretend we're all super surprised by this next headline.
Yeah, I'm, like, totally shocked...
I had no idea there were this many rational people in the United States.
Now, keep in mind here that the poll we're looking at comes from the leftist Washington Post, so I'm not pulling your leg with some sort of whacky polling. Furthermore, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if these guys went out of their way to skew the results toward the pro-trans side.
Anyhow…
The Washington Post-KFF poll, which asked 1,338 U.S. adults whether they felt trans women and girls should be allowed to compete against other women and girls, found that the vast majority of Americans reject the idea of including males in women's sports.
Specifically, 62 percent opposed allowing trans athletes in youth sports, 66 percent opposed trans inclusion in high school sports, and 65 percent opposed trans inclusion in college and professional sports.
Wow, two-thirds of Americans in opposition. Those are some pretty high numbers for an idea which is supposed to be fringe, right wing, and hateful.
On the contrary, it looks like the fringe and extremist idea is the one where you let males play in the female leagues because they say they're girls.
That's the idea that is crazy.
And the polls show this.
So feel free, everyone, to go out into the world and speak your mind on the whole transgender athletes discussion, because the majority of people agree with your rational stance on the issue.
MEN SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY IN WOMEN'S SPORTS LEAGUES.
PERIOD.
Everybody knows it.
Last, I just want to note how sickening it is that a full third of the country agrees with letting biological males play in girls' sports leagues.
Sure, I bet there are a good many in this group who are just self-censoring and avoiding any negativity toward the trans community. Those people can be changed.
It's the hardcore trans people — the ones who are sterilizing themselves or their children in the name of "diversity" — that I worry about.
Those people are so far gone, we'll likely never get them back.
And that, to me, is sad.
