On Sunday afternoon, a passerby heard a baby crying from a dumpster behind an apartment complex in Houston and called 911.

It's not clear how long the baby boy was in the dumpster, but he was found in the middle of the day, with his umbilical cord still attached, indicating that he hadn't been there for long.

Some witnesses say that the baby was born to an employee of the taco truck that was parked just yards away from the dumpster. The mother reportedly gave birth inside the food truck, then walked over to the dumpster and threw her perfectly healthy newborn baby in, leaving him to die.

After reviewing security footage at the apartment complex, and interviewing several witnesses, including employees at the taco truck, a suspect has been identified. However, details will not be released until charges are filed in the case.

The infant was taken to a local hospital where he was determined to be in good health and is now in the custody of Child Protective Services.
