This cop in Washington state just saved the day for a mama duck after she accidentally let all her kids fall through a storm drain.

The officer saw the duck quacking like crazy in front of the drain, realized what had happened, and then stooped down to fish the ducklings out.

This policeman didn't have to stop his day to rescue the ducklings, no one would know or care.

But he still did.

And people in Washington want to defund the police?
