Here's an update on the insane development in the case of a "transgender" sex offender who was set to have all charges dismissed after he tried to kidnap an 11-year-old Colorado boy during his school recess in 2024.

They did it. They let the freak go.

We previously reported on the story here.

As reported by the New York Post on Monday, charges against Galligan were officially dropped.

Solomon Galligan — who now reportedly goes by Carmen — was found by doctors to be mentally incompetent after he allegedly attempted to snatch the 11-year-old boy during recess at Black Forest Hills Elementary School in Aurora in April 2024.

And because the suspected creep can't be 'restored' to competency, according to his evaluation, the judge overseeing Galligan's case was left with no choice but to dismiss the charges under a 2024 amendment to the state's much-maligned competency law.

The prosecutor on the case, Ryan Brackley, confirmed that there is a chance Galligan will walk completely free.

But get this, I had to correct the pronouns in this next quote because Brackley referred to this psycho sex offender as a "she" (for real!) 👇

'Someone could ask that [he] be put into a more long-term, secure facility, but because the criminal case had to be dismissed, that's not something that we have any control over anymore. And that's why we find the statute deficient,' said Brackley of Colorado's competency law.

'What we would like to avoid in this case … is the tendency for it to be a revolving door through the criminal justice system, into the civil justice system and back to the criminal justice system without any meaningful secure mental health treatment,' he added.

Galligan, who has reportedly been in and out of jail for years, ended up in the clear due to a controversial Colorado law that prevents someone ruled "incompetent" from facing charges.

Galligan is now being "treated" at a mental health facility.

The sex offender's older sister, Sarah Galligan, told 9News in April 2024 that her brother has been in and out of jail for 12 years and that the community is unsafe with him roaming the streets.

In that link to the local 9News story, his niece Amanda Morris was also confused by the justice system:

'This has been like the fourth time that we're sitting here thinking, How the hell did he get released? Who's letting him out?' Morris questioned, highlighting the family's frustration with the system.

A psycho transgender sex offender has his charges dropped against the wishes of the victims, the prosecutors, his own family, AND his defense attorney?

Well done, Colorado.
