Whoever buys this Pennsylvania house is going to have a serious mystery to solve
· May 25, 2022 · NottheBee.com

I've seen some strange things in my life, but this 3 bedroom, 2 bath for sale in Pennsylvania has me stumped. Not because it's pretty run down, and they're still asking $420,000 for it, mind you.

No, the U.S.S. Sticker Shock set sail via Inflation Bay long ago.

I'm also not asking why there's a little door in the brick wall that leads to what appears to be a narrow enclosed space with windows behind the bar, though that is pretty odd.

I can even wave aside the creepiness of this military uniform hanging on a coat stand in what appears to be a mostly unfurnished house.

Nope, what has me scratching my head is this toilet that's been installed on the landing in a carpeted stairwell.

Note the carpet has been cut away at the toilet's base, so I assume that the carpeted stairs were there first, and the toilet was added later.

Why?

I thought maybe the previous tenant was elderly and had trouble with stairs, but it looks like there are stairs leading up to and away from the toilet, so that wouldn't make sense; a climber would have to circumnavigate the toilet to get to the next level.

It also looks like the glass in the stairwell is the same glass over the bar, which would place that little door directly under the toilet. And if you look close at the picture with the little door, you can see the outline of the toilet through the window.

Okay, now I am questioning the little door.

What is going on with this house?
