“Will there be some bloodshed? Certainly.” Students at Syracuse University call for bloody revolution

A recent video released by Campus Reform shows a Roe v. Wade protest last month on the campus of Syracuse University in New York. Most of it was the usual "My body, my choice" stuff, but that wasn't all. In addition to the pro-abortion argument, students called for a full-on bloody Marxist revolution.

The protest was organized in opposition to the leaked Supreme Court decision penned by Justice Samuel Alito suggesting that the court may be overturning Roe v. Wade. Two progressive student groups were at the helm: the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

PSL student organizer Stephanie Kenific said that it was time for the Supreme Court to be abolished.

"It's shown time and again it's not a defender of people, it's not a defender of democracy, it's a defender of the capitalist class," Kenific said. "Every step of the way they have voted to erode our rights that have been hard-fought and hard-won."

Katie Mott, SU graduate student and Party for Socialism and Liberation student committee member, told Campus Reform.

I firmly believe we need a socialist society and in order to do that we need a revolution. Will there be some bloodshed? Certainly. We gotta take back our power.

Then she added,

I mean we are a Marxist-Leninist organization, we do believe in class war, we believe that class war is the way forward. As we see right now peaceful protests aren't getting us much, we need a new society.

In case you've forgotten, because we use the term "mostly peaceful" so often, this is what the left means when they talk about "peaceful protests."
