A woman in Lakewood, Washington was arrested on Tuesday after driving a stolen Mini Cooper into a construction zone where it immediately got stuck in freshly poured concrete.
That in itself would qualify as a great "dumb-criminal-in-a-movie" scene, but it gets better. Or worse, considering this is not actually a movie.
Witnesses reported seeing the woman throw a half-empty bottle of whiskey, a TV, and an Instant Pot out of the car after she got stuck and before walking away.
Needless to say, she did not get away.
The city tweeted out several pictures of the incident, referring to a "series of poor choices" made by the woman:
The suspect allegedly stole the car, and presumably its contents from her mother's house, before getting stuck in the concrete.
She is being charged with driving under the influence, theft, domestic violence, negligent driving, and hit-and-run property damage.
So... just a few poor choices there.
