I know it's hard to believe, kids, but there was a time when airline travel was considered a classy, top-shelf way to get around the country.

I'm afraid those days are apparently gone forever, though.

The Daily Mail reports:

Ketty J Dilone, 47, allegedly threatened to kill multiple staffers on Flight 2470 from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Las Vegas on Tuesday, according to a probable cause affidavit from the FBI.

The Nevada woman was accused of screaming obscenities as she walked up and down the aisle while making violent threats against employees.

The 47-year-old woman had reportedly posted a video on social media shortly before the flight, one that apparently showed her in a disturbed state of mind.

You can certainly see from a still of that video that she looks, um, less than stable.

Evidently on the Las Vegas-bound flight, which originated in the Dominican Republic, Dilone flew into her bizarre frenzy and was quickly restrained by flight officials:

According to authorities, Dilone continued attempting to attack flight attendants even after she was duct taped to her seat.

One TikTokker captured her crazy, profanity-laced rantings on camera (click that link at your own risk).

Dilone was arrested by the FBI upon landing, after which she was "charged with one count of interference with a flight crew and one count of assault by striking, beating or wounding."

Note that this is not the first time an airline has creatively used tape to solve an in-flight problem.

Gotta give credit to the flight crew for using a simple fix to a bad problem!
