Wondering Why Biden Always Appears In That Fake Oval Office Set And Not The Real Thing? Politico Has The Answer.

If you're like me, you've been wondering this for about a year.

Why is Biden always in a fake Oval Office set and not in the real Oval Office??

This fake set was first noticed last fall when Biden got his Covid booster shot on the set, while all the reporters gathered round outside the set to take photos.

Since then, there have been multiple times Biden has used the fake White House set.

I mean, these backgrounds are totally ridiculous and VERY fake looking.

And the Zoom meetings on this set, who is he trying to fool?

So, the question remains: Why is Biden using this fake Oval Office instead of the real one?

Politico just found the answer in this story published Thursday:

[T]he White House has largely abandoned using the Oval Office for press events in part because it can't be permanently equipped with a teleprompter; Biden aides prefer the fake White House stage built in the Old Executive Office Building next door for events, sacrificing some of the power of the historic backdrop in favor of an otherwise sterile room that was outfitted with an easily read teleprompter screen.

Biden's aides can't trust Sleepy Joe to stick to the script, or likely even remember where he is, so they are making him use the fake White House set so he can continue to read the teleprompter.

THIS MAN IS NOT WELL!

His staff can't trust him when he's not glued to a teleprompter!

His literal ability to walk is also part of the equation:

A bone he broke in his foot while playing with his dog in late November 2020 still occasionally bothers Biden, resulting in a slower and shorter gait.

How embarrassing.

And how sad.
