After the mass stabbing in Canada on Monday that left 11 dead and at least 15 wounded, there have been many on the Right talking about the obvious fact that banning guns won't stop lunatics from murdering.

As usual, commentator Matt Walsh said what's painfully obvious but had to be said:

This is wokeness shaping policy. The alleged stabber, Myles Sanderson, was given special treatment because of his minority status as an indigenous person.

Thanks, postmodern cultural Marxist!

This is in Canada, but these are the same policies that are making it to America thanks to George Soros-backed DAs.

What a terrible, terrible "justice" system.

Here are a few of Sanderson's past crimes, according to Fox News:

Parole documents said he barged into his ex-girlfriend's home in July 2017 while she was with friends, punched a hole in the door of a bathroom while his two children were hiding in a bathtub and threw a cement block at a vehicle parked outside.

He got into a fight a few days later at a store, threatening to kill an employee and burn down his parent's home, documents said.

That November, he threatened an accomplice into robbing a fast-food restaurant by hitting him in the head with a firearm and stomping on his head. He then stood watch during the robbery.

In April 2018, he stabbed two men with a fork while drinking and beat someone unconscious.

Sanderson received statutory release from prison in the summer of last year. It was revoked after he failed to communicate with his parole supervisor, but the board decided only to reprimand him.

This violent man was allowed to repeatedly endanger lives to assuage the woke guilt of local authorities. Now THAT's privilege.

As Walsh notes, Myles Sanderson is still at large. His brother Damien, the other suspect in the horrid crime, was found dead.

There's something terribly wrong with the Canadian justice system, and it's infecting America too.
