If you're a Democrat and you think your party got hosed in Virginia and nearly trounced in New Jersey this week because its current policies are insane and radical, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a message for you:

"On the election front, I actually think we have good news as well. I know that Virginia was a huge bummer. And honestly, if anything, I think that the results show the limits of trying to run a fully, 100%, super-moderated campaign that does not excite, speak to or energize a progressive base. And frankly we weren't even really invited to contribute on that race."

That's right! AOC says Dems got killed in Virginia because they weren't radical enough.

Okay, that is...um...quite a postgame analysis.

As with other Democrats in the post-election carnage of this week, we have no desire to dissuade or discourage Ms. Ocasio-Cortez in any way whatsoever. If she wants to double down on transgender bathrooms and racist school curricula going into 2022, she receives our full blessing.

Go for it, AOC!
