Behold a ship so unthinkably large and powerful that it carries massive cruise ships around the water

If you ever have occasion to reflect on the largest and most technically impressive ships ever built, those massive floating palaces known as cruise ships probably come to mind: Basically small cities encased in a gigantic boat.

But sometimes those behemoth structures need to be transported by something else, at which point the cruise ship's captain cranks a gigantic capstan and summons...the Boka Vanguard:

Few man-made movable structures are larger than a modern cruise ship, but even those giants of the sea sometimes need someone to lend them a hand to get to port.

So what do you do when one of these giants of the sea is unable to move on its own power?

You call a ship-carrying ship, or, to be more precise, a "semi-submersible heavy transport vessel," such as the Boka Vanguard.

"Wait, what?" you're probably saying after reading that. Yep, that's right: the Boka Vanguard is "semi-submersible," meaning it literally sinks itself in order to load up its massive cargo.

Watch footage of the Boka in action below:

The question on everyone's mind, of course, is: When it loads up an empty cruise ship, does the Boka's crew have access to the water park and the seafood buffet??
