It's everyone's favorite Polish-Canadian pastor!
Pastor Artur Pawlowski was released from prison on Wednesday, 51 days after being charged "with breaching an order to keep the peace and with committing mischief by inciting others to block use of public property" at the U.S.-Canada border while addressing Freedom Convoy participants.
"The charges relate to his joining a rally at a roadblock on Highway 4 outside Milk River, Alta., and later giving a speech heard on video telling protesters to continue their fight against government mandates," CBC News reports.
His family is required to pay approximately $37,000 after Court of Queen's Bench Justice Gaylene Kendall granted bail after reviewing the case.
Pawlowski will also be under a curfew, requiring him to be home from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. except for attending church services.
This is not Pawlowski's first time being in the news.
He went viral in 2021 after he defied police when they showed up to an Easter service at his church, calling them Nazis and Gestapo:
He was arrested a month later for holding a church service.
