You guys, our country is an episode of Jerry Springer.

For real, look at this. Hunter Biden just randomly showed up to a House Oversight Committee meeting in which Republicans were recommending the House find him in criminal contempt of Congress and then he just up and left within a half-hour.

MTG got his arrival on tape:

I'm telling you, man, this is Jerry Springer material, and I have more so get your popcorn ready.

First,

Hunter Biden, President Biden's son, made an unexpected appearance at a contentious meeting of the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, where Republicans are moving forward with an effort to punish him for refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena.

The Oversight and Judiciary Committees are meeting to vote on resolutions recommending the full House find Hunter Biden in criminal contempt of Congress. If the House then takes up and approves the contempt resolutions, the Justice Department would decide whether to prosecute the president's son.

Hunter Biden arrived on Capitol Hill with his lawyers and, asked by CBS News whether he would testify, replied, "If they let me." He attended the Oversight Committee's meeting for less than 30 minutes, during which the committee descended into crosstalk and chaos as Republican Rep. Nancy Mace addressed the president's son directly.

Okay, on with the entertainment, because as noted above this quickly descended into chaos.

And when MTG got on the mic:

Bro, this is some of the best content I've ever seen!

Don't worry, I got one last hilarious clip for you.

We are a joke, dude.

A complete joke.

And Hunter Biden knows โ€” he doesn't think โ€” he knows he's above the law.
