Before getting to the article, let's review the story thus far.

First, jetpack guy was sighted last August:

Then, a month later, jetpack guy was sighted again.

Around Christmas, a pilot got video of jetpack guy:

Since then, things have been rather quiet. We were busy with election squabbles, petty tyrants, Covid jabs, and whatever new term Biden was coining on a given day...

While we were distracted, it seems jetpack guy was planning, preparing, and growing stronger:

An airline pilot near Los Angeles International Airport may have spotted a jet pack on Wednesday night, according to a new report.

"A Boeing 747 pilot reported seeing an object that might have resembled a jet pack 15 miles east of LAX at 5,000 feet altitude," a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) spokesman said in a statement, according to CBS-LA. "Out of an abundance of caution, air traffic controllers alerted other pilots in the vicinity."

Here was part of the conversation between air traffic control and pilots:

ATC: Skywest 3626, use caution. The jet man is back, let me know if you see him.

ATC: Skywest 3626, did you see the UFO?

Pilot: We were looking, but we did not see Iron Man.

What does jetpack guy want?

Is he a human, or merely a drone?

Will will ever find out his secret identity, or will he remain a mischievous flyer who disappears like the infamous D.B. Cooper?

I don't know, but what an amazing time to be alive.
