It's true: You see something new every time you watch a baseball game. This one, however, is just a big no-no, kids, so I want you to do me a favor and go ahead an never do this at a baseball game — ever.

Yes, that ball hit Kirby right in the chest. And I truly believe this kid had the best of intentions in mind here, trying to help his team out by offering up a new game ball to a pitcher who was clearly asking for one. I just don't think a fan throws a ball at his own pitcher for any other reason than that.

However, as I said before, kids, don't ever do this, or else you'll get a good chewing out from your mom in front of everyone in the park as you're escorted out by security. Seriously.
