Senate officially passes marriage-defiling "Respect for Marriage Act" without amendments protecting religious liberty

Welp, there you have it.

With the help of a dozen RINO republicans, the same who voted to move the bill along earlier this month, the US is now going to put the redefinition of marriage to include homosexual relations into law.

This means it's about to be open season on you and your churches if you (and God Almighty) think two men or two women or – coming soon, any subjective combination of people, animals, and objects – can't be "married."

We all know that just changing the definition of something, as is the habit of our time, doesn't ACTUALLY change the reality of what it is, as Allie Beth Stuckey points out so clearly:

But that didn't prevent Republicans from going along with this postmodern madness.

Republicans even had an opportunity to stop the bill and add Sen. Mike Lee's amendment protecting religious liberty into the bill.

They chose not to.

The Democrats and the dirty dozen Republicans voted AGAINST an amendment that would prevent the federal government from going after schools, businesses, and organizations based on their religious beliefs about same-sex "marriage."

They all opposed it, assuring us that they won't go after anyone.

Here's the president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Al Mohler:

Seriously, get a clue.

You know how they've gone after Jack Phillips in Colorado for nearly a decade now? Yeah, that's about to happen everywhere, thanks to these cowards and RINOS in the US Senate.

Jesse Kelly puts it even more clearly:

If you think this is just some happy-go-lucky, love-is-love, libertarian, "leave everyone alone" bill, you are sadly mistaken.

This bill was passed so that the feds could use legal force to come after you.

Republicans, your party betrayed you.
