All-Pro linebacker Shaq Leonard was released by the Colts on Tuesday, but he's still out here passing out turkeys to the Indianapolis community ✊

This is what giving back to the community is all about right here.

Shaq Leonard, a former All-Pro linebacker who spent six years with the Colts, was cut from the team on Tuesday. On Wednesday, well, Leonard wasn't packing his bags, bellying up to a bar, or simply weeping in bed; dude was out here handing out turkeys just like he would've been had he not been cut the day before.

That, my friends, is enough to put a smile on your face no matter what mood you were in before clicking over here.

Shaq told locals, "I'm all about giving back. Through tough times, good times, no matter what it is."

I love that!

Thanksgiving is such a great holiday. I gotta say, I'm thankful for people like Shaq Leonard. Without them, the rest of us would be lost in a way. Like, way to set an example, Shaq. You just made my day, and now, next time I'm feeling down, I'm gonna think of a way not only to make myself feel better, but to make someone else's day as well.

You're a true hero, Shaq, and I hope you find yourself a team that needs ya. Maybe somewhere where a playoff run is in store.
