Target is choosing to cut back on its LGBTQ+ merchandise this "pride season."
In some stores, they won't even have a "pride" display this year, because of backlash to their satanic campaign last year.
What, you forgot about that?
The backlash was severe enough that Target is making a major change this year in how they push radical and satanic gender and sexuality in their stores.
Now, this news report does push a lie that Target and the media tried to push last year. The "spike in confrontations" at Target was not the result of anti-LGBT backlash, but largely due to LGBT activists harassing employees and calling in bomb threats after Target took down their pride displays.
However, conservatives did make a major dent in Target's bottom line last year. This means that Target won't even bother with the grooming in some stores.
Sources familiar with the matter told Bloomberg that only around half of the 2,000 locations across the nation will stock the LGBTQ-themed merchandise, a stark decline from previous years, when the collection was available in all its stores and much touted by the retail giant.
Despite reducing the availability of Pride products in physical locations, Target maintained that it will still 'support and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride Month and year-round' by participating in Pride events and 'spotlight[ing] LGBTQ-owned brands.'
So, Target is still fine with pushing pride and supporting LGBTQIALMNOP+, but they're not going to display it at stores in areas where people boycotted them last year during June.
Now, for some, the boycott didn't end in July last year. Some think that Target needs to do more than just hide their products online, including "tucking" and "binding" swimsuits and underwear for kids, and stop the madness altogether.
Others held out through June, but they just couldn't keep away for that long.
This may be a "win" for conservatives on a small scale. But there's a huge war left to fight.
