We've done so much winning over just the past week alone that Trump plainly wants to put a defense system in place to ensure all that winning is protected:
President Donald Trump will sign an executive order Monday to build an American version of the Israeli 'Iron Dome' missile defense system.
According to a news release provided early to The Daily Signal, Trump's executive order "directs the implementation of a next generation missile defense shield for the United States against ballistic, hypersonic, advanced cruise missiles, and other next generation aerial attacks."
You know how awesome it's been to watch Israel's Iron Dome take out enemy missiles on the daily:
And it sure sounds like Trump is going all-in on the U.S. version:
The order 'accelerates the development and deployment of Hypersonic and Ballistic Tracking Space Sensor Layers, proliferated space-based interceptors, a Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture, capabilities to defeat salvoes prior to launch, non-kinetic missile defense capabilities, and underlayer and terminal-phase intercept capabilities.'

Hopefully it doesn't come to that, of course! But you can tell the White House is taking this seriously:
The White House characterized 'the threat of attack by ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles' as 'a catastrophic threat,' warning that the threat has increased over the past 40 years.
If you haven't followed the saga of hypersonic missiles the past few years, said missiles can fly over 10,000 mph and up until recently, China was pulling ahead of us in the arms race.
