I'm not diminishing Austin's military service, and while we make fun of Dems frequently on this site, we don't poke fun at people just because they vote blue or red.
I'm genuinely curious. Why is the guy who oversaw America's utter failure in Afghanistan, keeps failing audits, and disappeared for a week last year to get surgery without telling anyone ... getting more cheers than Jesus on Palm Sunday??
Even if you think he did an okay job, it's over the top!
I suppose he did travel lots of places for meetings without needing frequent nap breaks (like his boss), and he also weeded out conservatives extremists from the military while also making the military more woke?
Maybe those people were clapping because he's never coming back?
